A new INSA poll for Baden-Württemberg, conducted between February 17-23 and surveying 1000 individuals, indicates a narrowing gap between the Green Party and the CDU two weeks before the state election on March 8. The CDU, while remaining the strongest party, has fallen to 28 percent, a decrease from previous polls and its weakest showing since July 2023. The Green Party has gained ground, reaching 22 percent, reducing the difference to six percentage points from eight percent in late January. The AfD maintains a stable 20 percent, consistently above this mark since October 2025. Other parties include the SPD at 10 percent, Die Linke at 7 percent, and the FDP at 6 percent, all of whom would enter the state parliament.
