Panasonic is partnering with Chinese TV specialist Skyworth Display Technology Co. Ltd. to revitalize its TV business in Europe. Skyworth will handle sales and marketing for Panasonic's TV products in the region, aiming to reverse recent sales struggles and regain a broader customer base, similar to a recent deal between Sony and TCL. While Panasonic engineers will continue to ensure the quality of OLED TVs, Skyworth will leverage its global distribution network, marketing expertise, and logistics to boost the Panasonic brand. This strategic alliance, which follows Skyworth's acquisition of the German brand Metz in 1995, comes as Panasonic also announced its 2026 TV lineup, featuring new OLED and QD-Mini-LED LCD models with various smart TV operating systems. Panasonic will continue to provide customer service for devices sold until March 2026 and those available from April 2026.
