A 47-year-old man has been arrested in Cinisello Balsamo, Milan, for allegedly setting his 73-year-old father on fire after hitting him with a blunt object. Carabinieri responded to a house fire early in the morning and found the home engulfed in flames. While attempting to contain the fire, they apprehended the suspect. Preliminary investigations suggest the son, believed to have personality disorders, committed the brutal act before firefighters arrived. The Public Prosecutor's Office of Monza is overseeing the investigation into the homicide, with the medical examiner and the Scientific Investigations Section also present at the scene to gather evidence and determine the full sequence of events.
