Resellers on Carousell are listing limited-edition "Juju World" collectibles for significantly higher prices following the sell-out of Australian artist CJ Hendry's exhibition at the IMBA Theatre in Gardens by the Bay. While the original blind box plush toys were priced at S$39, rare hidden-edition versions are being resold for as much as S$2,888. Some bundles featuring multiple plush toys are listed for S$3,888. The exhibition, running from June 20 to July 18, has seen high demand, with weekend tickets and various collectibles currently only available via pre-order. In response to the secondary market activity, Hendry stated she has no control over post-exhibition sales and does not intend to restrict reselling. Instead, she expressed a preference for increasing supply rather than relying on artificial scarcity to ensure her artwork remains accessible to a wider audience.
