Albertville, France, is hosting a "popular ceremony" on Monday, February 23rd, to welcome back French medalists from the Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics. Thirty-four years after hosting the 1992 Winter Games, the Savoie region will celebrate its delegation, which secured a record 23 medals. The event, broadcast on France 2 starting at 5 PM, will feature the Olympic flag being raised, honoring the legacy of past French Winter Olympics and launching the bid for the 2030 French Alps Winter Games. Amélie Oudéa-Castéra, president of the CNOSF, highlighted the event's significance, and it will conclude with a concert by Bigflo and Oli at 8:45 PM.
