In its latest cleanup operation, the Coast Is Clear Foundation has successfully removed 494 kilograms of marine debris and litter from Malta’s waters, specifically targeting the area of Fomm ir-Riħ. Volunteers recovered a variety of waste materials from the seabed, including discarded fishing lines, fishing nets, metal, and plastic waste. This effort is part of the foundation’s ongoing commitment to cleaning up the marine environment around the Maltese Islands.
