'Code Red' students to receive exam results earlier than end of August 03.07.2026

The Central Examination Board (CvTE) has decided that the seven hundred students whose oral final exams were canceled last Friday due to heatwave 'code red' will receive their exam results earlier than the end of August. Three of the twelve affected schools have already rescheduled all exams, and with cooperation between schools, DUO, and other institutions, faster scheduling is now being implemented. The CvTE has also adjusted the rule that results are only available after all exams are completed; the already known grades have now been shared with the schools. Despite these relaxations, some candidates may still have to retake exams at the end of August, which could cause problems for further education programs that require a diploma before September 1. The organization previously reported an incorrect number of affected students; it concerns approximately three hundred students, mainly at special education schools where diploma files may be spread over several years.
