The Permanent Commission of Congress again suspended the debate this Monday regarding the supplementary credit of more than S/9,000 million, which would define funds for CAS regime bonuses, scholarships, and public works. The President of the Budget Commission, Alejandro Soto, announced a new extension of the recess until noon on Tuesday, July 14, to present a substitute text agreed upon with the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF). Soto explained that the request is due to the need to complete the technical review of the congressmen's proposals, rather than an intention to delay the debate.
