Construction of a Unified National Visa Platform at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to be Officially Adopted 07.07.2026

Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman chaired the Council of Ministers session in Jeddah, where the construction of a unified national visa platform at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs was approved to serve as the officially recognized platform. The Council reviewed the Kingdom's efforts in strengthening international relations and welcomed the UN Human Rights Council's decision regarding the empowerment of women in cybersecurity. The Council also lauded the Kingdom's achievement of ranking first globally in the 2026 ICT Development Index and the World Bank's praise for the AI educational environment. On the domestic front, the growth of the non-profit sector was reviewed, with the number of organizations expected to reach 7,200 by the end of 2025, alongside 1.7 million volunteers. Additionally, the Council approved several international agreements and memorandums of understanding with countries such as Singapore, Turkey, Spain, and Canada, as well as the approval of final accounts for several development funds and Saudi universities.
