Content creators Cassie (Caz) Uy-oco and Pepper Solis are launching For the Love of Women (FTLOW), a Manila-based nightlife space specifically for sapphics, in 2025. Their initiative stems from personal experiences and observations of the sapphic community feeling unsafe and sexualized in mainstream nightlife. FTLOW aims to provide a secure and understanding environment where women who love women, including lesbians, bisexual women, queer women, mascs, femmes, and trans women, can freely express themselves and connect. The organization prioritizes consent, ensuring guests agree to photo usage and providing a discreet experience for those not yet out. FTLOW will celebrate its first anniversary on June 27 at Lust Nightclub, continuing its mission to create a safe haven and change the narrative around sapphic spaces in the Philippines.
