Russia carries out cyberattacks against Finland daily, and Foreign Minister Elina Valtonen has summoned the Russian ambassador due to this activity. The EU has released a statement stating that Russia has targeted Finland and at least eight other EU countries with a long-term campaign of cyberattacks and influence operations. According to the EU, Russians have infiltrated various governments via the internet and sabotaged, among other things, the operation of power plants.
