On Sunday, February 22, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM, David Delabrosse will perform his new album, "Les mots modernes," at Le Grand Huit in Rennes. For two decades, Delabrosse has cultivated a unique musical style, blending adult and children's themes, notably with his project Ego le cachalot. This fourth album, "Les mots modernes," explores contemporary language and prompts introspection, questioning "those that mark, those that strike." Accompanied by Denis Piednoir, Delabrosse will present songs from the new album and past works, featuring a minimalist setup of two acoustic guitars, two voices, and a drum machine, with retro objects like a radiocassette and Minitel adding to the ambiance. Interludes will feature dialogues between the musicians about age difference, a central theme of the album.
