Death toll and injury count for this July 4th following earthquakes in Venezuela 05.07.2026

The Ministry for Communication and Information published this Saturday, July 4, an official report on the consequences of the earthquakes that occurred on June 24 in Venezuela. To date, authorities confirm 2,954 deaths and 16,592 injuries, while rescue forces have saved 6,462 people. The disaster caused the collapse of 190 structures and damage to another 856, leaving 16,309 people displaced. To assist the population, the Executive branch has established 80 temporary camps and has distributed 9,486 tons of humanitarian aid, including food and water. Currently, 29,567 security officials, along with 3,281 international specialists and 26,984 volunteers, are working on relief efforts. Additionally, constant monitoring is being maintained as 942 aftershocks have been recorded following the initial seismic event.
