In the midst of an unprecedented seismic crisis, the Venezuelan government has declared a State of Emergency throughout the entire national territory. Acting President Delcy Rodríguez announced on a national broadcast that a double earthquake severely affected the country's coastal and central region, leaving at least 20 aftershocks that keep security agencies on maximum alert. The areas with the greatest structural damage are Caracas and the states of Miranda, Aragua, Carabobo, and La Guaira, where critical damage to homes and infrastructure has been reported.
