Despite Germany's economic challenges, including US trade policies and high operating costs, German corporations are demonstrating generosity towards shareholders by increasing dividend payouts. The DZ Bank forecasts that the 90 companies within the Dax and MDax indices will distribute approximately 63.7 billion euros for the past fiscal year, a 5% rise from the previous year. The Dax companies alone are expected to contribute an estimated 55 billion euros, while MDax payouts are projected to remain stable at 8.7 billion euros. The German automotive industry is notably the largest dividend payer, allocating an estimated 14 billion euros, nearly a quarter of the total, despite industry headwinds. Allianz remains the top dividend payer, with an estimated payout of 6.6 billion euros.
