During the "eternal derby" between Red Star and Partizan Belgrade on Sunday, Red Star supporters unveiled a banner reading "Pravac Potocari" and observed a minute of silence for Ratko Mladic, the former Bosnian Serb general who died on August 27 while serving a life sentence for genocide, war crimes, and crimes against humanity. The slogan refers to Mladic's words upon entering Srebrenica in 1995, where his forces committed genocide against thousands of Bosniak men and boys. Partizan fans had similarly honored Mladic a week earlier with a banner reading "General, thank you."
