The construction of 58 emergency medical service stations costing over 33 million euros, funded by the Recovery Plan, has become a target of criticism from the opposition KDH. MPs František Majerský and Peter Stachura pointed out that a certain Žilina-based company, which won the contract for the construction of 18 stations, has, in their view, "botched" the project. They claim the company promised to build the stations within six months without subcontractors, but in reality, some buildings remain unfinished and work has stopped. Furthermore, the company allegedly hired subcontractors who are complaining about unpaid invoices. KDH warns that the delay could jeopardize the drawdown of European funds.
