A lawsuit filed on March 31 accuses Dorney Park and its parent companies, Six Flags Entertainment Corporation and Cedar Fair LP, of negligent hiring and supervision after an employee allegedly sexually assaulted a minor guest in September 2021. The plaintiff claims the employee, Anthony Casio, who was 22 at the time, befriended the 15-year-old victim by lying about his age and later sexually assaulted her at a hotel in Emmaus, Penn. The lawsuit asserts that Casio had a "known and documented history of sexual misconduct" prior to his employment, and that the park failed to protect minors. Casio has since pleaded guilty to statutory sexual assault and corruption of minors and is classified as a sexually violent predator.
