Russia's Defense Ministry reported intercepting at least 427 Ukrainian drones on Thursday morning, with Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin stating dozens were shot down en route to the capital. Reports indicated falling drone debris prompted responses from emergency responders at several sites. This occurred while Ukraine's air force stated Russia launched 102 drones into Ukraine overnight, successfully intercepting 92, though eight impacted six locations. Ukraine reported casualties from Russian strikes in Dnipropetrovsk, Sumy, and Kharkiv regions, following rival unilateral ceasefires announced by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Russian President Vladimir Putin. Zelenskyy criticized Russia's continued attacks, highlighting violations of the proposed silence and warning of proportional responses.
