A dangerous overtaking maneuver on the D1001 near Noirémont, Oise, on Thursday, February 19th, resulted in a severe head-on collision involving two vehicles and a third car that swerved to avoid the impact. The incident occurred around 8:30 PM when a female driver crossed a solid white line in a blind spot to overtake another car, colliding with an oncoming vehicle. Three individuals were transported to the hospital by emergency services. The driver of the car that was hit head-on sustained serious injuries, requiring 45 days of total incapacity for work (ITT). Notably, at least two children were among the passengers and were unharmed. The driver responsible for the accident, who had to be extricated from her vehicle, was not injured, and alcohol and drug tests were negative.
