On Sunday evening, during the FIFA World Cup match between Norway and Brazil, a car on Rallarvegen caused a major alarm. Police were contacted by a foreign tourist who observed the vehicle between Hallingskeid and Finse. The car was stuck in a snowdrift on the road, which strictly speaking should not be possible to drive on. According to the police, driving on Rallarvegen is not allowed at all.
