Droits de douane de Donald Trump : les entreprises françaises de nouveau plongées dans l’incertitude 23.02.2026

French companies are facing renewed uncertainty following a series of conflicting decisions regarding U.S. tariffs. Initially, a Supreme Court ruling on Friday, February 20th, invalidated "reciprocal" tariffs imposed by Donald Trump, offering a brief moment of relief. However, this was quickly overshadowed by a new measure announced by President Trump over the weekend. Citing an alternative legal basis under the Trade Act, specifically Article 122, the U.S. government will implement new import taxes on goods entering the United States, effective Tuesday, February 24th. This new tariff, which Trump announced on Saturday would be set at the maximum authorized rate of 15%, mirrors existing tariffs for many European businesses, plunging them back into a state of concern.
