The march, organized by various non-profit organizations including Dolle Mina's, FNV, and Amnesty International, highlighted ongoing struggles for women's rights in the Netherlands, such as issues with abortion laws and domestic violence. Concurrently, Mayor Halsema co-hosted the sold-out "Women Unite" conference at Carré, which ran from 11:45 AM to 5:00 PM, exploring contemporary challenges and celebrating women's achievements, with much of the program conducted in English.
