These severe weather events, common before the monsoon season, caused numerous fatalities from falling trees, collapsing buildings, and lightning strikes. Emergency teams, including police and disaster response units, worked to clear debris from roads and railways. Significant damage to homes, crops, and power infrastructure was reported, particularly in rural areas. In response, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath directed officials to expedite relief operations and provide immediate aid and compensation to affected families.
