A lifeguard on duty immediately initiated CPR, and the man was subsequently conveyed to Tan Tock Seng Hospital by Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) officers who took over resuscitation efforts. The incident caused a temporary closure of the pool, with witnesses observing the unconscious man being taken to an ambulance amidst a tense atmosphere and police presence.
