Eleven operatives from the Fundão Humanitarian Firefighters Association have been formally accused by the Public Ministry (MP) of crimes of rape and sexual coercion, committed in co-authorship, against a 19-year-old colleague. The defendants, aged between 22 and 53, include a chief and a sub-chief of the corporation. The victim, who joined as a 3rd category firefighter in November 2024 after attending the cadet school, was sexually assaulted on the morning and night of September 6, 2025.
