Apple has launched an updated iPad Air, now featuring the powerful M4 chip, a significant upgrade from the previous M3 model. This new iteration also incorporates Apple's advanced networking chips, the N1 and C1X, enabling Wi-Fi 7 support and enhancing Bluetooth, Thread, and cellular connectivity. The standard RAM has been increased to 12GB from 8GB, while other specifications like the 11- or 13-inch LCD display with 500 nits brightness and 60Hz refresh rate, storage options from 128GB to 1TB, and camera configurations remain unchanged. The device runs on iPadOS 26, which offers improved multitasking capabilities. Pre-orders begin on Wednesday, March 4, with full availability on March 11, starting at $599 for the 11-inch and $799 for the 13-inch models.
