Daily Mail royal editor denies seeking Prince Harry flight details 11d ago

Rebecca English, the royal editor for the Daily Mail, has denied allegations of unlawful information gathering during a High Court trial concerning Prince Harry's privacy claims against Associated Newspapers Limited (ANL). Emails presented in court showed communication between English and freelance journalist Mike Behr, who allegedly "blagged" sensitive flight details for Prince Harry's trips. English stated that information for a December 2007 story about Prince Harry and Chelsy Davy's holiday originated from students at Leeds University, and that similar stories appeared in other newspapers. She also claimed that details for a 2004 story about Prince Harry and Davy in Botswana came from a colleague's contact who was present at the campfire. English denied receiving flight booking emails from Behr or asking him for such information, attributing her knowledge of the prince's movements to official sources like charities.
