Domestic abuser convicted of killing wife who jumped from bridge 7d ago

Lee Milne, 39, has been convicted of culpable homicide in Scotland's first prosecution of its kind, following the death of his 28-year-old wife, Kimberley Milne, who jumped from a motorway bridge onto the A90 in Dundee in July 2023. Milne denied domestic abuse and culpable homicide, but a trial at the High Court in Glasgow found him guilty of engaging in a course of abusive conduct towards his wife in the 18 months leading up to her death. Prosecutors presented evidence of significant domestic violence, including choking and assaults, and a witness described seeing the couple arguing shortly before Kimberley's fatal jump. Milne will be sentenced on 10 April, having been remanded in custody.
