EDB has identified the drivers of economic activity growth in Armenia in January 7d ago

The Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) has reported that Armenia's economic activity grew by 7.2% year-on-year in January 2026, building on a 9.1% increase for January-December 2025. Key drivers of this January growth were the services sector, which expanded by 7.4% year-on-year, and the construction sector, which saw a significant 18.7% year-on-year increase. The industry sector also contributed positively with a 10.6% year-on-year rise. Based on these figures, the EDB has maintained its forecast for Armenia's economic growth at 5.3% for the full year 2026.
