Jan B., a 66-year-old former municipal council member from Almere, is being prosecuted for alleged sexual abuse of multiple children, with the youngest victim being 2 years old. Prosecutors revealed that Jan B. also produced and possessed child sexual abuse material involving a 3-year-old boy and an infant. The investigation has identified a total of 13 children, with incidents including indecent touching at a child care facility in Amsterdam-Oost, where Jan B. worked as a substitute staff member for Partou. He was arrested in November 2025 following a police report. Jan B. previously served as a council member for 50PLUS from 2022 to February 2025 and for the Socialistische Partij from 2006 to 2010.
