Electrolux Group, the parent company of Frigidaire, has initiated a recall of approximately 175,000 gas ranges sold across the United States and Canada due to concerns about burn injuries. The recall, announced via the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, stems from 30 reported burn incidents and 62 customer complaints detailing delayed ignition of the oven's bake burner. The affected models, including over 20 Frigidaire, Frigidaire Gallery, and Frigidaire Professional Gas Range variations, were sold at major retailers like Lowe's and Home Depot, as well as online, between June 2025 and January 2026, with prices ranging from $630 to $2,700. Consumers are advised to cease using the ovens and contact Electrolux Group for a complimentary repair involving the installation of new bake burners, though cooktop burners remain safe for use.
