Israeli settler gunfire kills two Palestinian brothers in West Bank 3d ago

Two Palestinian brothers, 52-year-old Mohammad and 48-year-old Faheem Mo’mar, were killed on Monday by Israeli settler gunfire in their village of Qaryout in the occupied West Bank, according to the Palestinian Health Ministry. Mohammad was shot in the head and Faheem in the pelvis. This incident, which also injured at least three others, brings the total number of Palestinians killed by settler violence this year to three, following the February 19th killing of 19-year-old Nasrallah Abu Siyam. Videos circulated by Palestinian media and a former Israeli soldiers' group appear to show settlers firing at a Palestinian home. The shootings occur amidst surging settler violence in the territory and an intensified Israeli military presence due to the regional war.
