Susan Sarandon says she was blacklisted over Gaza ceasefire calls 11d ago

Actress Susan Sarandon claims she has been blacklisted in Hollywood for advocating for a ceasefire in Gaza, stating she was fired by her agency, United Talent Agency, in November 2023 and subsequently found it impossible to appear on television or work in major films. Sarandon, an Academy Award and BAFTA recipient, received the International Goya award in Barcelona following her controversial remarks about the Israel-Gaza war, including a statement at a New York rally where she drew parallels between the fear of Jewish Americans and the experiences of Muslims in the U.S., for which she later apologized. She has since found representation and work in independent films in England and Italy, praising leaders in Spain and Ireland for their support of Gaza.
