Enugu State Governor Peter Mbah has rewarded Rangers International F.C. with substantial prizes for winning the 2025/2026 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) title. Following the team's victory on Sunday, May 24, 2026, Mbah announced on Wednesday that each player will receive a plot of land in Enugu, and the team as a whole will be awarded ₦100 million. Additionally, the club's management will receive ₦50 million, with further land allocations for key coaching and administrative staff. This triumph marks Rangers' ninth NPFL title, leveling them with Enyimba F.C. as the most successful clubs in the league's history. The dramatic win also secures Rangers and Rivers United a spot in the next CAF Champions League.
