EPF no longer substantial shareholder in Sunway Healthcare 10h ago

The Employees Provident Fund (EPF) has ceased to be a substantial shareholder in Sunway Healthcare Holdings Bhd following the sale of one million shares on April 16 for approximately RM1.83 million. This disposal reduced EPF's stake to below the 5% threshold, leaving it with about 574.97 million shares. EPF had initially become a substantial shareholder on March 18 with a 5.13% stake, acquired through a combination of dividend-in-specie distribution and shares from Sunway Healthcare's initial public offering (IPO), which raised nearly RM3 billion. EPF was one of twenty cornerstone investors in the company's IPO.
