The Rostock public prosecutor's office is reportedly nearing the conclusion of its investigation into the murder of eight-year-old Fabian from Güstrow, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, with an indictment for murder against the suspect, Gina H., appearing imminent. Gina H. has been in pre-trial detention since November 6th on strong suspicion of murder. Fabian disappeared from his Güstrow apartment on October 10th and was found four days later, his body burned, near Klein Upahl, approximately 15 kilometers away. The cause of death and a murder weapon have not yet been disclosed by investigators. Fabian's mother, represented by her lawyer Christine Habetha, is reportedly following the investigation with great concern and hopes for a life sentence if a trial occurs.
