The European Commission has rejected a request from the NMHH that would have allowed the Hungarian authority to directly sanction RTL's parent company, the Luxembourg-registered CLT-UFA SA. The case stems from a law enforcement procedure initiated by the NMHH against the media service provider following reports regarding certain programs on the RTL Kettő channel and the RTL+ streaming platform. The contested content included episodes of the 11th season of Való Világ broadcast between December 2022 and February 2023, as well as a November 2022 episode of Showder Klub.
