In Mira Frindt's PubliQ program, political scientist Jozef Lenč analyzed the expected course of Saturday's referendum initiated by the non-parliamentary party Democrats. Although the 50 percent turnout required for the referendum to be valid is not expected, Lenč considers a turnout between 26 and 40 percent to be a success, as suggested by public opinion polls. He compared this to previous referendums—in 2023, the Smer and Hlas referendum reached a turnout of 27.25 percent, and in 2010, the SaS referendum reached 22.8 percent.
