Everything You Need to Know About the Curious Case of ‘Bricks and Minifigs’ and the Missing ‘Star Wars’ Lego 03.06.2026

A significant dispute has emerged over a collection of approximately 780 sealed Star Wars Lego sets, valued between $150,000 and $200,000, belonging to Bryan Mansell of Oregon. In November 2023, Mansell entered a consignment agreement with Chrystal and Benjamin Gorman, owners of the Keizer, Oregon franchise of Bricks and Minifigs, granting them exclusive rights to sell the collection. The agreement stipulated that Mansell retained ownership and received 65% of sales, with the store taking 35% commission. Problems arose in 2024 when the Gormans' franchise agreement was terminated, and they were forced to leave the store without a full inventory of Mansell's collection. New owners, Brandon Best and Joshua Johnson of Baker Bricks LLC, allegedly denied knowledge of the consignment and refused Mansell access to his property, leading him to terminate the agreement in April 2024. YouTuber Reckless Ben (Benjamin Schneider) investigated the case, culminating in his arrest in Utah following complaints from Joshua Johnson regarding Schneider's conduct. Bricks and Minifigs corporate denies responsibility, claiming the consignment agreement was unauthorized.
