The Anti-Corruption and Economic Crime Investigation Division of the Incheon Metropolitan Police Agency summoned former lawmaker Yoo Seung-min on July 18 for questioning as a suspect in the charge of obstruction of business. This marks approximately seven months since the police received related complaints and launched an investigation last November. At that time, the police received a complaint alleging violations of the Public Records Act and obstruction of business, requesting an investigation into 23 individuals, including Incheon National University President Lee In-jae, and subsequently added other university-related personnel to the case. It is reported that some of those added are also suspected of violating the Act on Prohibition of Improper Solicitation and Graft.
