Experte klärt über Regel aufSpanien-Auswanderern winkt jetzt lukrative Steuer-Chance 24.02.2026

Spain's "Beckham Law" offers a significant tax advantage for qualified individuals relocating to the country, including skilled workers, self-employed professionals, and entrepreneurs. This special tax regime, also known as Lex Beckham or Ley Beckham, allows eligible newcomers to be taxed as non-residents for up to six years, significantly reducing their tax burden. The most appealing aspect is a flat tax rate of 24% on employment income up to €600,000, a stark contrast to the regular rates which can reach up to 47%. This law aims to attract talent and investment, strengthening Spain's economy, and also exempts foreign-sourced capital gains and assets from Spanish taxes, while eliminating certain reporting obligations. However, the law has limitations, such as the inability to claim deductions like work-related expenses or child allowances, and it may not be beneficial for those with lower incomes.
