The Fédération Française des Trucs qui marchent (FFTM), co-founded by Raphaël Ruegger, has launched a "machine à trucs" on February 23, 2026, to showcase 70 "immediately duplicable" innovative initiatives from French municipalities. This online tool, powered by AI, allows users to discover successful projects based on their commune and chosen themes, aiming to inspire candidates and citizens ahead of the March 15 and 22, 2026 municipal elections. The FFTM's work, stemming from a four-year tour of over 300 communes, seeks to improve residents' daily lives by sharing practical solutions like civic action notebooks for children, child-centered schoolyard transformations, and mini-enterprises for vocational training.
