The federal government has committed $29 million to the North Calgary Water Servicing project, a major infrastructure initiative aimed at improving water delivery and reliability for northern Calgary communities. Calgary-Confederation Liberal MP Corey Hogan made the announcement alongside city officials on Tuesday, emphasizing the importance of ensuring consistent access to clean drinking water. The funding, sourced from the Build Communities Strong Fund, will support the first stage of the project, which began construction last fall in northwest Calgary.
