The Hammamet International Festival has unveiled the program for its 60th edition, which will take place from July 11 to August 13, 2026, under the theme of "living memory." This edition will feature 32 performances, including 14 Tunisian productions representing 43.8% of the program. A Moroccan-Tunisian co-production, "Aïta Mon Amour," blending tradition and modernity, is among the Tunisian creations. The programming will highlight a diversity of international artists from Morocco, Spain, Cuba, the United States, Mali, Portugal, Italy, Turkey, Palestine, and Lebanon. The opening and closing ceremonies will be led by Tunisian artists Wafa Taboubi and Soufia Sadok, respectively, marking a tribute to women in national culture. The event aims to both celebrate its history and look toward the future, emphasizing the role of culture as a human investment and a universal language.
