Festival. Roué Waroch, 28 éditions de musiques traditionnelles vivantes dans le Morbihan 21.02.2026

The 28th edition of the Roué Waroch festival, held in Plescop, Morbihan, from February 21st to 23rd, 2025, celebrates living Breton culture with 150 artists and an expected 6,000 visitors. Founded in 1996 by Jean Loric and now led by his son Fañch Loric, the festival aims to showcase a vibrant, open, and contemporary Breton culture through concerts, competitions, workshops, and dances. The event, which has grown significantly from its initial 600 attendees, maintains an artisanal spirit and an intergenerational, accessible atmosphere, offering a platform for emerging musicians and diverse musical styles, including traditional Breton music, world music, and contemporary fusions, all while refusing to prioritize sheer scale over its core values.
