1st trailer for Sorkin's 'The Social Network' follow-up is here 10.06.2026

Aaron Sorkin is set to release "The Social Reckoning," a new film he is both writing and directing, with its first trailer now available. Fifteen years after the success of "The Social Network," this film will feature Oscar nominee Jeremy Strong as Mark Zuckerberg, portraying the Meta founder in his later years. The movie also stars Mikey Madison as Facebook whistleblower Frances Haugen, who was instrumental in leaking confidential Meta documents in 2021 with the help of Wall Street Journal reporter Jeff Horwitz, played by Jeremy Allen White. The film, which opens theatrically on October 9, boasts a supporting cast including Wunmi Mosaku, Betty Gilpin, Billy Magnussen, and Bill Burr, marking Sorkin's return to directing features after "Being the Ricardos."
