Jake, the founder of the Floortime Center in Bethesda, Maryland, is expanding his developmental therapy services to Armenia to support children with special needs. This initiative is driven by the efforts of Marc Toureille, a therapist and hip-hop artist known as Marc 2Ray, who has worked with Floortime for 12 years. Toureille began collaborating with the Emili Aregak Center in Gyumri during a 2024 visit, contributing both professional expertise and financial donations from his music video. Following his own 2024 visit to Armenia, Jake is planning a return trip to collaborate with the ArBeS Pediatric Rehabilitation and Development Center in Yerevan. To ensure long-term sustainability, the team is currently translating "The Floortime Manual" into Armenian, aiming to empower local professionals rather than establishing a commercial business venture.
