During the Fourth of July weekend, Florida real estate investor and influencer Allison Sirica Cannella, 40, and her husband, Brian Nicholas Cannella, 43, were arrested in Key Largo. According to the Monroe County Sheriff's Office, the couple was charged with two felony counts of child neglect after leaving two young children unattended in a nursery bed at the Reefhouse Resort & Marina. Hotel employees alerted deputies after discovering an unattended baby crying for an extended period. Investigators determined the children were left alone for approximately 40 minutes to one hour while the parents consumed alcohol at the property's pool. The children were released to a family friend and did not suffer serious injuries. The Cannellas, both residents of Delray Beach, were booked into the Monroe County Jail, with their first court appearance scheduled for September 1.
