FM visits Venezuela to strengthen comprehensive partnership 25.06.2026

Foreign Minister Lê Hoài Trung paid an official visit to Venezuela from June 23-24, reaffirming Việt Nam’s commitment to its traditional friendship and comprehensive partnership with the South American nation. He conveyed greetings from Vietnamese leadership to Acting President Delcy Rodriguez and held talks with General Secretary Diosdado Cabello and Foreign Minister Yvan Gil Pinto. Trung also participated in the Việt Nam–Venezuela Business Forum alongside Vice President Calixto Ortega and Foreign Trade Minister Johann Alvarez. The minister paid tribute at the National Pantheon and inaugurated the new Vietnamese Embassy headquarters in Caracas.
